Obisesan TO – Cumulative evidence implicates hypertension in the pathogenesis of Alzheimer disease. Although it may not presently be possible to completely differentiate the effects of treatment and control of hypertension itself from those of the medication used to achieve such treatment goals, efforts directed at the treatment and control of hypertension can have significant public health impact.
