Single night postoperative prone posturing in idiopathic macular hole surgery European Journal of Ophthalmology, 04/24/2012

Malik A et al. – Vitrectomy with internal limiting membrane peeling and 20% perfluoroethane gas with a brief postoperative 1 night prone posturing regimen is a reasonable approach to achieve anatomic closure in idiopathic macular hole. Concurrent cataract extraction did not alter outcomes and was not associated with any additional complications.
