Adjunctive effect of intravitreal bevacizumab prior to lens-sparing vitrectomy in aggressive posterior retinopathy of prematurity: a case report
Japanese Journal of Ophthalmology, 07/31/2012
Clinical Article
Sun HJ et al. – Intravitreal bevacizumab is safe and effective as a treatment of aggressive posterior retinopathy of prematurity. In some cases tissue contraction may occur, but because tractional retinal detachment is localized to the posterior pole, effective lens–sparing vitrectomy can be performed.
