Patellar Fracture After Total Knee Arthroplasty for Rheumatoid Arthritis
Journal of Arthroplasty, 06/20/2012
Jujo Y et al. – Five postoperative patellar fractures (1.51%) were identified, and a thin residual patellar thickness and the use of posterior–stabilizing components were identified as significant risk factors, although the number of fractures was small in both groups. There was also tendency of higher age and greater joint line change observed in patients with fracture compared with those without fracture.
