Zhang XY et al. – The brain–derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) system may be implicated in the pathophysiology of tardive dyskinesia (TD) and its improvement with antioxidant treatment. Furthermore, patients with the genetic potential for greater BDNF release may obtain a greater reduction in TD from EGb–761 treatment.
