Zhang ZY et al. – This study demonstrates an independent inverse association between bilirubin and brachial–ankle pulse wave velocity (baPWV) in hypertensive men. Additionally, reduced C–reactive protein (CRP) may be one of mediators on the mechanisms how bilirubin reduces baPWV.
