Briganti A et al. – In contemporary patients with prostate cancer, the accuracy of computed tomography (CT) scan as a preoperative nodal–staging procedure is poor, even in patients with high lymph node invasion risk. Therefore, the need for and the extent of pelvic lymph node dissection should not be based on the results obtained by CT scan.
