Rohacek M et al. – Reasons for computed tomography pulmonary angiography (CTPA) reflecting defensive behavior—such as “fear of missing PE”—were frequent, and were associated with a decreased odds of positive CTPA. Defensive behavior might be modifiable by training in using guidelines.
