Oh JK et al. – Subgroup analyses of the surgical treatment for ischemic heart failure (STICH) trial suggest that patients with less dilated left ventricular (LV) and better LVEF may benefit from surgical ventricular reconstruction (SVR), while those with larger LV and poorer LVEF may do worse.
