Bansal N et al. – Chronic kidney disease (CKD) did not alter the shapes of the association between higher body mass index (BMI) and cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk factors. Inverse associations between BMI and CVD risk factors are unlikely to explain why CKD patients with higher BMI may have better outcomes.
