Prevalence of plateau iris configuration in primary angle closure glaucoma using ultrasound biomicroscopy in the Indian population

Approximately 30% of the eyes with primary angle closure glaucoma (PACG) had plateau iris on ultrasound Biomicroscopy. Plateau iris was very often the cause for residual angle closure following laser peripheral iridotomy in Indian eyes with PACG.
