Extension of a retracted ciliary sulcus tube of Ahmed glaucoma implant with angiocatheter segment
International Ophthalmology, 05/24/2012
Moghimi S et al. – Here the authors present a technique for extension of a retracted sulcus tube in a patient with simultaneous penetrating keratoplasty and Ahmed™ glaucoma valve implantation, in whichthe authors extend the tube with a segment of angiocatheter, and then insert the tip of the tube in the ciliary sulcus. Postoperatively, ultrasound biomicroscopy shows proper positioning of the tube in the ciliary sulcus.
