Yamazaki T et al. – Subfoveal choroidal thickness decreased after intravitreal injections of ranibizumab in eyes with neovascular age–related macular degeneration. Intravitreal injections of ranibizumab may provide a pharmacologic effect not only on the neovascular lesion but also on the underlying choroid.
