Journal of Renal Nutrition, 04/26/2012  Clinical Article

de Oliveira CMC et al. – This is the first study testing adductor pollicis muscle thickness as an anthropometric marker in hemodialysis patients. The parameter was significantly correlated with markers reflecting the condition of the muscle compartment, but not with parameters estimating the fat mass.
