NPSR1 Gene Is Associated with Reduced Risk of Rheumatoid Arthritis

The results show that variations in the Neuropeptide S receptor 1 (NPSR1) intronic region are associated with low risk in patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA), supporting other evidence that this locus represents a common genetic factor in inflammatory diseases.
