Wanscher M et al. – Seven patients with profound accidental hypothermic circulatory arrest were successfully resuscitated using a management approach that included extracorporeal rewarming, followed by successive periods of therapeutic hypothermia and sedated normothermia and intensive neurorehabilitation.
