We are an authentic Rivertown. The gently rolling waters of the Chattahoochee have provided food, energy, employment, and recreation for our citizens throughout the years. Located at the center of most of Georgias major attractions, and less than an hours drive from Georgias most popular statewide destinations.

Our Center is an expanding full-service medical/surgical hospital that has served the residents of our growing community. We offer a full range of medical services, including 24-hour emergency care. The hospital specializes in maternal/child health, surgical services on both an inpatient and extensive outpatient basis, urological services including lithotripsy, cancer care with state-of-the-art radiation therapy, rehabilitation therapy programs and a wide array of diagnostic imaging capabilities

We are seeking a Orthopedic Physicians Assistant or Surgical Nurse Practitioner with Ortho surgery experience. Requires Current Georgia Physician Assistant License or Georgia Nurse Practitioner License.

Ideal candidate will have 2 years experience in both OR and clinic setting. WILL consider a NEW GRADUATE with strong ortho clinical rotations.

Must be able to do the following:

-Obtain complete medical history and physical data on patients. Review patient records.

-Interpret and integrate data to determine appropriate diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for patients.

-Perform orthopaedic procedures and selective medical services (including diagnostic, therapeutic and preventive health care procedures) as appropriate under the direction of a physician.

-First responder in the Emergency Department to diagnose and provide patient care intervention under the direction of physician (Emergency Department/Orthopedic Surgeon).

Available for orthopedic inpatient consults under the direction of a physician.

Available for urgent calls regarding orthopedic inpatients.

-Available to assist in Operating Room.

-Available to provide supervision of patients undergoing stress test evaluations.

-Keep accurate progress notes and dictate discharge summaries.

-Appropriately communicates with physicians regarding any patient care issues.

-Communicates effectively and professionally with internal and external customers.

-Presents self in a professional manner.
