Phase III Study Showed Two Years of ACTEMRA Inhibited Progression of Joint Damage and Improved Disease Remission
Genentech, 10/19/09
Genentech, Inc., a wholly–owned member of the Roche Group, announced two–year results from a Phase III study, which showed that people with rheumatoid arthritis who received either a 4 mg/kg or 8 mg/kg dose of ACTEMRA, in combination with methotrexate, had no progression of joint damage, compared with people who received methotrexate alone. The overall safety profile of ACTEMRA was consistent across all global clinical studies.
