Makarounas–Kirchmann K et al. – In this meta–analysis, lercanidipine was associated with a lower risk of peripheral edema and a lower risk of treatment withdrawal because of peripheral edema than were the first–generation, but not the second–generation, dihydropyridine CCBs.
