A dose-finding and pharmacodynamic study of bortezomib in combination with weekly paclitaxel in patients with advanced solid tumors
Cancer Chemotherapy and Pharmacology, 10/01/09
Ramaswamy B et al. – Sequential paclitaxel and bortezomib in previously treated patients with advanced solid tumors resulted in acceptable toxicity and no evidence of interaction. The recommended phase II dose of bortezomib in combination with weekly paclitaxel was 1.8 mg/m^2.
Bhuvaneswari Ramaswamy, 10/01/09
| We report here the better tolerability of weekly paclitaxel (days 1,8) and bortezomib (days 2,9) given on a 21 day cycle. We also demonstrate that the desired level of inhibition of 20S proteosome was observed with this combination. |
