Chien LW et al. – Transcutaneous electrical stimulation of the Zusanli and Sanyinjiao acupoints was effective in reducing percentage body fat and waist circumference in postmenopausal women during a period of 12 weeks. This effect may be related to modulation of the autonomic nervous system and reflected in increased HRV components.
