Kreibich AS et al. – FS–induced increase in phosphorylated CREB, specifically in the lateral septum and nucleus accumbens is also blocked by antalarmin. These studies suggest that both CREB and CRFR1 activation are necessary for stress–induced potentiation of drug reward.
