Novel peptide antagonists of adrenomedullin and calcitonin gene-related peptide receptors; identification, pharmacological characterization and interactions with position 74 in RAMP1/3
Journal of Pharmacology and Experimental Therapeutics, 08/05/09
Robinson SD et al. – Using receptor mutagenesis authors also determined that the C–terminal nine amino acids of AM appear to be responsible for its interaction with Glu 74 of RAMP3. The authors provide new information on the structure–activity relationship of AM, alpha CGRP and AM2 and how AM interacts with CGRP and AM2 receptors.
