Macrolide-Induced Digoxin Toxicity: A Population-Based Study

Gomes T et al. - Clarithromycin was associated with the highest risk of digoxin toxicity, whereas erythromycin and azithromycin were associated with much lower risk. The authors found no increased risk with a neutral comparator, cefuroxime.
