Hermanns-Clausen M et al. - As severe intoxication as the result of the intake of insecticide alkyl phosphates or carbamates is rare, many physicians treating such patients have little experience with the antidote atropine. If atropine is overdosed, the induced atropine intoxication may complicate the clinical course and itself lead to life-threatening complications.
