Eshuis EJ et al. - Infliximab (IFX), an anti-TNF biologic agent, has been demonstrated to offer benefits for the treatment of autoimmune disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis and Crohn’s disease. Several trials have also investigated the efficacy of IFX for the treatment of ulcerative colitis (UC).
