WE ARE SEEKING A CLINICAL PHARMACIST WITH ONCOLOGY EXPERIENCE



Responsible for providing and supervising appropriate pharmacy services for oncology patients. Develops step-by-step procedures for screening chemotherapeutic orders, timely and accurate medication order processing, preparation, and dispensing from pharmacy. Develops codes, labels, and other predefined formats for consistency. Records study drugs received and maintains logs for these drugs stocked in pharmacy. When appropriate, provides services for randomizing, blinding, and other consultative activities to principle investigators. Develops staff training programs on various investigational studies for pharmacists and technicians. Precepts pharmacy students in practice experience rotations.

Must be a Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a minimum of a Doctor of Pharmacy degree. Must be currently licensed to practice as a Pharmacist in the State of California. Minimum of two (2) years experience as a hospital pharmacist. Completion of an ASHP accredited residency training program preferred. Completion of a specialty/clinical residency in oncology preferred.
