A.Education and formal training:
BA (finance or accounting) /MHA/ MBA/ MBA finance or accounting preferred
Hospital experience preferred
Ability to successfully complete generic and department specific competency assessment
C.Knowledge, skills and abilities required:
Purchasing and inventory management. Business management, financial management, billing audit, people management, etc.
Provides overall support & management of all finance, inventory, contracts, and business processes and manages the P&L reviews. Responsible for maximizing contract tier optimization and savings. Supports system-wide supply chain centralization initiative. Assists pharmacy leaders with budget preparation, budget variance analysis, reporting, inventory and productivity management. Is a member of the corporate leadership team.

-Responsible for EOM, quarterly business reviews (including purchases, and financial), and trending of business statistics, and process accuracy
-Prepares monthly/quarterly reports for corporate pharmacy services
-Assures NH procurement staff competence for best practices. Documents competency.
-Seeks input of staff in decision making and financial results.
-Facilitates decision making within the department.
-Acts with honesty and integrity with employees and customers, showing and speaking with respect for the rights of others, human dignity, local culture, Pharmacy and Novant's mission and vision.
-Makes decision in a timely manner.
