Recent trends in dental emergency department visits in the United States - 1997/1998 to 2007/2008

Wall T – Although dental–related emergency department (ED) visits account for a relatively small percentage of total ED visits, both the number and the percentage of such visits grew from 1997/1998 to 2007/2008. Young adults 20–34 years old were most likely to present at an ED with a dental problem.
