Urology, 04/06/2012
Moritoki Y et al. – The authors report the case of a newborn infant with cloacal exstrophy. On the 16th day after birth, complete primary exstrophy repair was performed. The bladder tissue obtained during surgery contained collagen tissue and a little smooth muscle, as well as a few neuron cells and kit–positive interstitial cells in the submucosal layer.
