Gokce S et al. – Cardiovascular risk factors are more impressive and carotid intimal medial thickness (CIMT) was significantly higher in group 1 than in group 2 and the control group, indicating that they are associated with greater risk of atherosclerosis and future adverse cardiovascular events.
