Ray DC et al. – Direct laryngoscopy using the Macintosh laryngoscope is a difficult skill to acquire. Videolaryngoscopy is a widely accepted airway management technique that may be easier for novices to learn. The view at laryngoscopy was significantly better with the McGrath.
