Kupferman JC et al. – Children with DS had significantly increased risks of anterior urethral obstruction, cystic dysplastic kidney, hydronephrosis, hydroureter, hypospadias, posterior urethral valves, prune belly syndrome, and renal agenesis. There was no significantly increased risk of ectopic kidney or ureteropelvic junction obstruction in the DS population. Children with DS have significantly increased risks of RUTAs.
