Benesch M et al. – Although intrathecal liposomal cytarabine was generally well tolerated, it should be used cautiously and only with dexamethasone prophylaxis in extensively pretreated patients with recurrent brain tumors. Proof of efficacy requires a prospective single–agent phase II study.
