Methods- Investigation of differing reports for association between epilepsy and celiac disease
- Subjects: 272 Italian children with epilepsy and 300 healthy children
- Screen for anti-gliadin and anti-transglutaminase immunoglobulin A and G
- Test of positive and borderline samples for presence of anti-endomysium antibodies
- Comparable prevalence of antibodies related to celiac disease to that of healthy controls
