Concolino D et al. - Recombinant human IGF-1 was administered subcutaneously in doses between 40 and 80 micro g/kg once daily. Height velocity increased from 2 cm/year on average at baseline to 7.9 cm/year during the first year of treatment. In the following years, growth velocity was less but satisfactory during treatment, but decreased when therapy was stopped.
