Goenka AH et al. - The diagnosis was established perioperatively by a combination of surgical and pathological findings. Exclusive Author Commentary
Ajit Harishkumar Goenka, 06/07/09

We are glad to have our article featured at the esteemed MDLinx. Notwithstanding the progress made by us, hydatid disease continues to be a cause of distressing morbidity in our patients. Extremely variable clinical presentation contributes to the frequent delay in diagnosis and in turn the therapy. Hence, a high index of suspicion can be worthwhile. The goal of the article will be achieved if the message conveyed through it reaches the maximum number of practicing physicians, which we believe is possible through the means of MDLinx. Thank you
