Kawanishi H et al. – In a patient with EPS suspected to result from the use of icodextrin solution, the degree of peritoneal deterioration differed from the degree of capsule formation, which was different from typical EPS. This finding suggests the promotion of capsule formation by icodextrin solution and the involvement in EPS of certain inflammatory reactions.
