Ertugrul I et al. - Increased common bile duct diameter, biliary dilatation, biliary stent insertion, prolonged total procedure time, and hilar cholangiocarcinoma have higher post-endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography cholangitis risk. Moreover, the presence of periampullary diverticula was found to decrease cholangitis risk.
