Turnbull J et al. - The introduction of cyclophosphamide- and prednisolone-based treatment regimens has significantly improved outcome in patients with anti-neutrophil cytoplasm antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitis. Improvements in disease management should include the increased awareness of treatment-related toxicity and its prevention.
