Gafter-Gvili A et al. - All assessed antifungal agents showed similar efficacy, but the rate of microbiological failure increased with fluconazole vs amphotericin B or anidulafungin. Amphotericin B is associated with a higher rate of adverse events than fluconazole and echinocandins.
