Relationship between pure tone audiometry and tone burst auditory brainstem response at low frequencies gated with Blackman window
European Archives of Oto-Rhino-Laryngology, 08/15/2011
Canale A et al. – Mean discrepancy between the two thresholds was about 20 dB in normal hearing, reducing in presence of hearing loss, without any differences in conductive and sensorineural cases. Tone burst auditory brainstem response(ABR) is a good predictor of hearing threshold at low frequencies, in case of suspected hearing loss.
