Bilateral sudden sensorineural hearing loss as an initial presentation of myelodysplastic syndrome

A 76–year–old woman presented with bilateral sudden hearing loss. The patient was found to have myelodysplastic syndrome during a workup for her hearing loss. Unfortunately, the patient's hearing loss did not improve after the medical treatment.
