Mixing the DE data from the 80 kVp and Sn140 kVp tubes using weighting factor 0.6 (60% from 80 kVp data) could improve lesion contrast–to–noise ratio (CNR) and subjective overall image quality (including lesion delineation). This weighting factor was significantly superior to the 0.3 weighting factor which simulates standard 120 kVp acquisition.
