Total hip arthroplasty combined with double-chevron subtrochanteric osteotomy

The study shows that acceptable results are obtained from double–chevron subtrochanteric osteotomy for subtrochanteric femoral shortening and corrective osteotomy. However, total hip arthroplasty combined with subtrochanteric osteotomy is a technically demanding treatment option.
