Anwar F et al. – A 74–year–old man presented to the Accidents and Emergency department following a fall from the third step of a ladder (1 m height), onto his back. He had a long standing past medical history of ankylosing spondylitis along with neck and back pain. Initially, he experienced altered sensations (pins and needles) down both arms with increased pain intensity in his neck and back.
