Femoral neck fracture after removal of PFNA-blade—Case report and review of the literature

Seibert FJ et al. – An 85–year–old woman collapsed and fractured her left hip. The radiographic examination showed a pertrochanteric fracture (31.A.2) which was treated with internal fixation by PFNA after a good closed reduction on the same day. Postoperative X–rays showed the correct position of the blade.
