Wardleworth D – Achilles tendon pain developed in a 35–year–old runner, but initially failed to clear with heel–drop, eccentric exercise. The further assessment and management of the case is discussed together with the appropriate application of heel–drop exercise and other therapeutic approaches which resulted in a successful result.
