Repair of the posterior root of the medial meniscus
The Knee, 09/10/09
Jones C et al. – The authors describe a successful arthroscopic technique to repair this lesion. A posteromedial portal is established by which two 2–0 PDS sutures are placed through the meniscus root and pulled down through a trans–tibial tunnel and fixed using an EndoButton distally along the anterolateral cortex of the tibia. This has been performed successfully in five patients with no complications.
