Jónás Z et al. – During surgery, the partial detachment of the plantar aponeurosis origin was performed. The American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society score was used for assessment. The average preoperative score of 43 increased to 85 postoperatively. Postoperatively 69% of the patients had excellent, 12% good, 4% average and 15% had bad results. The patients 66% was very satisfied, 11% was satisfied, 12% was slightly satisfied, and 11% was unsatisfied with the surgical result. The authors recommend the surgical treatment of plantar fasciitis unresponsive to conservative treatment.
